Stella Carlin is the true, hidden antagonist of season three of Orange is the New Black.
They were a brief, romantic interest for Piper Chapman.
They were portrayed by Ruby Rose.
Personality[]
Stella seems to be a flirtatious person, who makes jokes and is playful. They seem to be quite clever but lack morality, and seem to be quite good at faking it. Stella also developed a dependency on drugs.
Physical appearance[]
Stella has a strong jawline and short brown hair. They also have a lot of tattoos, getting them the nickname "Justin Bieber".

Background[]
Stella lived in Australia at some point before being moving to the US due to their father's job. At some point, their parents moved out of the US again, leaving Stella behind. It is unclear why they are in prison.
Orange is the New Black[]
Stella is introduced with a throng of new inmates and oriented by Lorna Morello. Stella is assigned a job in the lingerie factory with Piper and makes flirtatious eye contact with her. Piper enlists Stella in her fetish underwear business. Piper and Stella become attracted to each other over time and start a romantic and sexual affair. When Alex Vause learns of this, she breaks up with Piper. Stella then gives Piper her first tattoo (which later becomes infected).
Piper's brother Cal tells her that overnight someone has stolen all of the revenue she was making from the panty company. Furious, Piper begins accusing her employees, but does not suspect Stella. Piper then learns that it was Stella after finding out Stella was due to be released and took the money to finance themselves after prison.
Piper initially appears unfazed when confronting Stella, but has secretly hidden contraband such as shivs, cigarettes and a lighter in Stella's bunk. The COs discover this and have Stella transferred to maximum security and her sentence extended. As Stella is taken away, Piper shows Stella her tattoo which reads "Trust No Bitch".
After Nicky Nichols is sent to maximum security, she sees Stella. It is revealed Nicky and Stella had a sexual relationship together whilst in maximum security. A CO drops a package of drugs at Stella's lap, meaning Stella has lapsed. Nicky, a recovering drug addict, shouts at Stella and tell them to stay away from them if they are using drugs again.
At some point, Stella told Madison Murphy that Piper was extremely privileged outside of prison. Stella is not seen or heard of after this.
