Biography[]
At the beginning, he passed by and saw San Sanych, who was about to leave on the train, but he closes the curtains. After landing, he asks San Sanych to "have a smoke." San Sanych gives me a pack of cigarettes. Meanwhile, Stepan and San Sanych load boxes of oranges and deliver them to the aunt's house, where Kostya lives in a barn. He bargained and earned a lot of money in San Sanych's room. When he saw Kostya, he chased after him, but accidentally drops a suitcase with oranges and continued to chase. After being chased, he knows where Kostya lives and informs San Sanych, but does not guess that they live their house. When he returns to the goods, he sells oranges again, but when he opens it, there are stones in it that he collected without noticing them. Stepan shows San-Sanych the way, he orders to steal the ticket from him. Upon hearing his discovery of the coupon, he broke into San Sanych's room and found that the coupon was not in his book and was not in it. San-Sanych was sure that Stepan had managed to pick up the ticket. He tortures Stepan — forcibly feeds him oranges for sale, because he thinks that the accomplice is lying about the fact that there was no coupon in the book.
