Stephanie and Stephanie's Lover are the main antagonists of "Second Honeymoon", the second segment of the horror classic V/H/S.

They have been played by Sophia Takal and Kate Lyn Sheil.

History

Stephanie and her boyfriend Sam are going on a trip while recording everything with their camera. They visit places and are generally enjoying their time together. However, at one of the nights an unknown person records them while they are sleeping. They pull out a knife and caress Stephanie’s thigh with it, then go to the bathroom (in the mirror a masked woman seen) and wash Sam’s toothbrush in the toilet as well as taking money from his wallet. Later on he blames Stephanie on that.

The next night, mysterious person records their sleep again and stabs Sam in the throat, killing him. Eventually, she takes her mask off, and makes out with Stephanie, while washing the blood away from her hands and the knife, meaning that this was Stephanie's secret lover, that she kept hidden from her boyfriend, which they together decided to execute.
