Steve Valentine (also known as Puffalump the Clown) is an antagonist in the Dexter novel "Double Dexter". He was a rapist who targeted young boys and later killed them to not have any witnesses.
Biography[]
Valentine was a child's entertainer who dressed up as a clown and ran ads in the local newspapers. He was hired for kids parties and arrested and released twice for taking children into dark closets.

When Valentine was near death, Dexter showed him pictures of three boys he had raped and killed before he succumbed to his wounds.
