Mr. Stinky is the overarching antagonist of the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. Specifically, he is the main antagonist of the episode "Friend or Foe".
Stinky is a chubby, light orange fish who has balding light brown hair, orange-brown lips, and a unibrow. When working he wears a light purple shirt, a white apron, blue shorts, black boots, and a white chef's toque. When he's off work he wears a long-sleeved, green shirt that has white cuffs and a gold, circular pin/medallion that has an "S" on it, ,blue pants, black shoes, and a purple hat with a feather. Additionally, he also carries a gold cane that has a burger on the top.
Personality[]
On the surface Stinky seems to be a fairly kind and jovial person, however, in reality he is actually a very greedy, rude, and arrogant businessman who only serves food to people with money. Additionally, it's also shown that he doesn't care about health and safety and is willing to serve unhealthy food to his customers and the fact he hasn’t bothered to clean up the dump where he runs his restaurant.
Biography[]
Stinky was the owner of the titular Stinky's Burgers joint who would cook up some burgers for the kids. Although appearing benevolent to all the kids, he was equally as bad if not worse than them when interacting with Mr. Krabs and Plankton as they were the only he would refuse to serve business to. Yelling at the duo, Stinky realizes he is off his shift and leaves in his limousine with all of his cash, before a dollar bill flies out into Mr. Krabs' claw, sparking inspiration for the two to start their own burger joint.
The two later head over to Stinky's Burgers to prove their worth in the food industry, only to find out that Stinky had been arrested prior and that his restaurant has been closed by the Health Department.

What makes Stinky the overarching antagonist of the overall franchise is the fact of how his acts along with Mr. Krabs and Plankton's classmates shaped them into the greedy and scientist masterminds they are today.
