Stolas, also known as the Owl Demon, is a demon originating from The Discoverie of WitchcraftThe Book of SpiritsPseudomonarchia DaemonumThe Lesser Key of Solomon, and Dictionnaire Infernal. He is mainly described to be a human-owl or raven, with very long legs.

(however be aware that demonology is a very complicated field and the hierarchy / purpose of each demon varies considerably depending on the specific branch of demonology being discussed - thus Stolas' appearance, rank and attributes can change depending on which source on is taking their information from).

Description

Stolas appears to be a prince of Hell, which has the duty of commanding 26 legions in Hell. He appears to be an astronomy teacher. Stoals also the high knowledge in plants which are very poisonous and very precious stones. The knowledge of stones, plants and stars for the demons is very important for their ritual and magical seasonings.

Forms

Stolas has two forms: The first form being the black-raven which is his demonic form. His second form is a white-winged human with dark hair and very bright blue-green eyes, which is his angel form.

  • Stolas appears as a character in the adult web-cartoon, Helluva Boss, a spin-off of Hazbin Hotel - where he retains his status as an elite member of Hell.
