The Stomach Family are a prominent aristocratic family in the Granute World and the main antagonists of Kamen Rider Gavv. They run Stomach Inc. and are responsible for converting humans into Dark Snacks to be sold by the company. Shoma/Kamen Rider Gavv is technically a member of the family, but was cast out for being half-human.
History[]
The Stomach Family founded Stomach Inc. and has run the company for at least three generations. At some point one of the company's presidents, Bouche Stomach, became infatuated with a human woman named Michiru Inoue and conceived a son with her named Shoma. Bouche would have both Michiru and Shoma brought to the Granute World and imprisoned inside his mansion. As Shoma was weaker than his other children due to being half-human, Bouche asked Dente Stomach perform a remodeling surgery on Shoma to strengthen his gavv and forced Shoma to undergo the surgery against his will. Though the surgery was a success, Shoma's enhanced capabilities would not show themselves until they reached adolescence.
After Bouche passed away, his eldest son Lango Stomach took over both the family and the company. With Bouche no longer around to protect Shoma and Michiru, Lango and his other full-blooded siblings decided to finally do away with them. They had Michiru converted into a Hitopress and snapped in half, but were unable to do the same to Shoma. Shoma was later able to escape his family's imprisonment and flee into the human world, where he began opposing his family's efforts to hunt humans.
