Stompa (DC Animated Universe)

Stompa is a supporting antagonist in the DC Animated Universe. She is a New God of Apokolips and the strongest member of Darkseid's honor guard, the Female Furies.

She was voiced by the late Diane Delano.

Biography[]

Superman: The Animated Series[]

Stompa along with Lashina and Mad Harriet, were summoned by Granny Goodness to deal with Supergirl. Stompa was able to get the best of Supergirl with her anti-matter boots, creating an earthquake and burying Supergirl under a destroyed building. However, Superman interrupted the battle, and the Furies were eager to have the chance to battle him. Worried over his cousin, the Furies combined their efforts and took Superman down. They then brought Superman to Darkseid, but Supergirl came to his rescue. After a fierce battle, Stompa was knocked out of Darkseid's throne room with a large pillar. Superman and his cousin escaped saving the Earth from an incoming comet. Darkseid then ordered the Furies to punish Granny Goodness for her failure.

After Granny Goodness had brainwashed Superman into joining Darkseid's army, Stompa and the other Furies were seen as his teammates and celebrated after Superman conquered a planet for Darkseid. However, Superman soon regained his memory and returned to Apokolips. There, he was ambushed by his former allies, who all tackled him as he was flying. As a last resort, Superman smashed into a fiery pillar, leaving the Furies to fall one after another.

Justice League Unlimited[]

Years after Darkseid's death, a war broke out on Apokolips between Granny Goodness and Virman Vundabar. Stompa was seen on Granny Goodness' side during the Civil War against Vundabar's forces until Darkseid returns and ends the conflict between the two factions.
