Storm Eagle, originally called Storm Eagleed, is one of the eight Maverick bosses from Mega Man X and its remake Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. Storm Eagle resembles an eagle-type harpy, but his head is that of an actual eagle (albeit a robotic one). He wears blue and purple and has a five-fingered hand on the left arm and a fan blaster on the right.
Biography[]
Storm Eagle was originally a leader of the Maverick Hunters' 7th Air Cavalry unit. After he failed to stop Sigma, he reluctantly joined his rebellion. As a result of his betrayal, Storm Eagle was targeted by Maverick Hunters X and Zero. They located him on board an airship. He fought his former allies but died, succumbing to his wounds. X and Zero had a lot of respect for Storm Eagle. Vile, on the other hand, considered Storm Eagle to be insufferably smug, threatening to tear his face off.
Battle[]
In battle, Storm Eagle attacks with his trademark weapon: the Storm Tornado. It doesn't inflict damage on X. Instead, it pushes X off the airship and towards certain death, although X can avoid this by standing as close to Storm Eagle's position as possible and running, and the Foot Parts can help out on his escape. Storm Eagle will also perform nose dives that can only be avoided by moving quickly out of his path. His weakness is the Chameleon Sting when playing as X. When playing as Vile in the remake, Storm Eagle's weakness is the Cerberus Phantom.
