Storm the Albatross is an Extreme Gear Rider and a supporting character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, namely the Sonic Riders spinoff series where he serves as Knuckles the Echidna's rival. He is an anthropomorphic albatross and the muscle of the current generation of Babylon Rogues.

In Sonic Riders, he was voiced by Kenji Nomura in Japanese and by Dan Green in English, who also voiced Knuckles. For the entire series, he is voiced by Kenji Nomura in Japanese, and by Travis Willingham in English, the latter who was a former voice actor for Knuckles.

Personality[]

Storm may be extremely dimwitted and slow to understand something, but he makes up for this with his extreme strength and undying loyalty to Jet the Hawk, serving as his most loyal follower and right-hand man, always following his orders without question and only ever referring to him as "Boss." Despite being committed to his duties though, Storm has a quick temper and his clumsiness constantly results in embarrassing himself and his teammates. Such as the rest of the Babylon Rogues, Storm is very rude to others and frequently mocks and laughs at other people as well as sharing an obsession with money and treasure, going to any means necessary for a profit.

Extreme Gear[]

Like the other Babylon Rogues, Storm's Extreme Gear board gets it's name from the first letter of Storm's name. His board is called Type-S. (As another example, Wave the Swallow has a W as the first letter of her name, therefore her board is named 'Type-W'.)
