Klaus Risinger, better known as Stormfront is a major antagonist in the superhero comic book series The Boys.
He was the first super created using Compound V and was ordered by Hitler to be killed, but was sent to America when he was only a child. Due to his experiences as a child, he grew to hate other ethnicities and see other races as inferior. Despite this, he was picked up by Vought-American to be a part of the group Payback, which he forcefully took over as its unofficial leader.
Biography[]
Comics[]
Klaus Risinger was one of many child experiments involving his unnamed mother being injected with Compound V during her pregnancy. Presumably, his mom was killed either during childbirth or executed by the Nazis after the birthing process. His public origin is that he is a reincarnated Viking, and his ability to control the weather and electrical powers further supports this origin.
As a child, Klaus was raised as a Hitler youth, became a soldier for the Third Reich, and served as a supersoldier during World War II. However, Hitler decided for Stormfront to be executed and killed, but the creator of Compound V, Jonah Voglebaum, managed to smuggle him across to Vought-American for safety. However, by this point, Hitler's ideology had taken hold of Stormfront, and eventually, upon realizing this, Voglebaum recommended that Vought-American kill the boy before he became too dangerous. Instead, Vought, believing Stormfront could still be controlled, instead offered him a role as a member of the world's second premier superhero team, Payback. Stormfront accepted, and during this time, he became an extreme threat to the members, to the point that he started becoming controlling. Also, he became a worldwide corporate enforcer while being a superhero.
Stormfront views non-Aryan races to be inferior and often uses racial slurs against those who are of a different race; he even doesn’t like certain whites, as he says, "Italians what the fuher was thinking I’ll never know." Additionally , he appears to have a fear of being blinded, as when his eye is damaged during a fight, he fears going blind. During one fight, he responded that he couldn't be blinded and flew away. Eventually, Female of the Species ripped out his eye during a fight, causing him to scream in pain.
At some point, Stormfront encounters the Boys and fights them. With the help of Billy Butcher, Mother's Milk, Frenchie, and Love Sausage, he was killed when Mother's Milk managed to step on his genital area, which gave Billy an advantage to crush Stormfront's head in, killing him. After his death, it's revealed that Vought reuses DNA from older supes to create new and stronger versions of the source material. In Stormfront's case, his DNA was used to create Homelander, making him a partial clone of Stormfront.

Trivia[]
- Stormfront is a villainous parody of DC's Shazam (Captain Marvel) and Marvel's Thor.
- Stormfront is supposedly the second most powerful super-being, the second to Homelander.
- Stormfront is the name of an actual Neo-Nazi White Supremacist forum. Given Stormfront’s status as a Nazi and having the power of Electrokinesis, it’s very fitting.
- Stormfront's death in the comics is somewhat symbolic, as he was killed by Billy Butcher, Mother's Milk, Frenchie, and Love Sausage, who originate from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, France, and the Soviet Union, respectively. These four nations resisted Nazi Germany the most.
- In the comics, Stormfront's DNA is said to have been used in the creation of Homelander, making him his "biological father" by proxy. In the Amazon adaptation, however, due to Stormfront's character getting a complete rework, his role as Homelander's "father" is given to Soldier Boy instead.
- His pose in the cover for the 34 issue is a homage to Superman's pose in the cover of All-Star Superman.
