Straw Banki (ストローバンキ Sutorō Banki) is a minor antagonist of Engine Sentai Go-Onger, serving as the primary antagonist of the Episode 30. He was a drinking straw Savage Water Barbaric Machine Beast under the command of Kegalesia, who ends his sentences with "buku".
He was voiced by Yasuhiro Takato.
Biography[]
Straw Banki was created by Kegalesia. Other than using his Straw Scatter Shot to have people breathe out poison gases, the robt drank from four bottles to gain a special ability. Explosive Drink (yellow) allowed him to shoot bubbles that exploded on impact. Smokescreen Drink (purple) released a smoke screen, and his Capsule Drink (blue) created a bubble prison. He was then sent by his masters the Pollution Ministers Yogostein, Kitaneidas and Kegalesia to attack and destroy Tokyo. The Banki beast attacked the city and fought the Go-Ongers and Go-On Wings. After he lost his Gai Aqua Drink in battle, the robot was forced to retreat.
Later, Sosuke and Renn found his Gai Aqua drink and decided to find its sectet in order to defeat the Banki, but the Rangers accidentally sprsyed the drink on themselves, causing them to become brainwashed and become a con artists named Sonoji ad Kousaka, who stole money from people by cheating. The other Go-Ongers and Go-On Wings were shocked by this change of heart of their comrades and Hiroto accidentally forced Rennto awakenby unching him, but Sosuke remained brainwashed. Later when Straw Banki returned to the city and started attacking the town again, five Go-Ongers fought the villain, but the robot trapped the heroes inside his bubble prison. Later, Speedor managed to return his partner to normal and Sosuke joined his friends in battle. Straw Banki was defeated by Sosuke and Speedor inside of Go-Roader before growing huge by his Industrial Revolution and he was scrapped by Bearrv, Bus-on, Seiku-Oh, and GunBir-Oh.
