Stray Cat is a supporting antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Originally a cat named Tama that was hit with a Stand Arrow, it was reincarnated into a plant-like Stand after being killed by a broken glass bottle while it was being chased by Shinobu Kawajiri out of the Kosaku household's basement. Its abilities were later exploited by Yoshikage Kira, who adapted it into a sub-stand for his Killer Queen.
Biography[]
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable[]
Tama, an ordinary cat, was at some point struck by a Stand arrow while peacefully lazing about by a tree. It unknowingly gained Stand abilities and took refuge in the cellar of the Kawajiri household. It was stumbled upon by Shinobu Kawajiri and was killed by a broken glass bottle while she attempted to chase it out and was subsequently buried by Yoshikage Kira (under the guise of Kosaku Kawajiri) in the garden.
It later woke up as a plant-like creature on top of its grave, and was discovered by Kira, who it did not hold any hostility towards, even after he attempted to suffocate it. However, when Shinobu Kawajiri walked in, it immediately attacked her and Kira, destroying Shinobu's toenail with its newfound air-controlling abilities.
It was eventually hidden in the attic of the house by Kira, who believed it could be useful in the future. It remained asleep as there was no light in the room. However, it was eventually found by Hayato, who opened the window and was attacked by the Stand but managed to escape.
The Stand, nicknamed Stray Cat by Kira, is eventually used as a pawn of Kira in the final battle. Stray Cat is placed inside of a hollow compartment inside of Killer Queen's stomach, and is used by a weapon by Kira, having its abilities combined with those of Killer Queen.
After the final battle, Stray Cat is later adopted by Okuyasu Nijimura and his father Mansaku.

Trivia[]
- Stray Cat's name comes from an American rockabilly band called "Stray Cats".
- Hirohiko Araki stated that he based Tama/Stray Cat off of his grandfather's cat, Chako. As a child, they both doted on it, but Chako scratched Araki when he ignored it one day. He has since been suspicious of cats as a result.
