The Strong Poltergeist, also known as the Strong Boffin in PAL regions, is a mini boss in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. They are a psychic ghost with large a cranium, along with an added pattern to differentiate them from normal Poltergeists.
History[]
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[]
The Strong Poltergeist's first and only appearance is in the third mission of the Treacherous Mansion, Luigi has a book that he is going to put in a bookshelf in the study. However the Strong Poltergeist steals it from Luigi and moves to the Space Exhibit. When Luigi goes to the Space Exhibit he looks through a telescope showing the Strong Poltergeist on a moon holding the book. As Luigi is about to stop looking he sees himself on a moon that the Strong Poltergeist controls, stars are thrown at Luigi and the Strong Poltergeist sends bombs out through the moon. The Strong Poltergeist turns invisible like other ghosts but they are able to be spotted near stars that glow. Eventually Luigi catches it and takes the book back, inserting it into the Study's bookshelf and entering the Train Exhibit.
