Stuart St. John is a major character of the Taken Trilogy, being a supporting character of the 2008 film Taken and the main antagonist of its 2013 sequel Taken 3.
He was Lennie Mills's ex-husband and the employer of Oleg Malankov, the man who killed Lennie after failing to get back the relationship, and is also Bryan Mills' friend-turned-archenemy.

Takedown, Corey Mills in Superman: The Animated Series, Agent Gibbs in Air Force One, Nathan Van Cleef in Shanghai Noon, General Brak in Justice League, General Immortus and Warp in Teen Titans, Mysterio in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Red John in The Mentalist, Vic Gigante in Kick-Ass, Morgg in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Gregory in The Walking Dead and Gilad Pellaeon in The Mandalorian.
In Taken 3, he was portrayed by Dougray Scott, who also portrayed Sean Ambrose in Mission: Impossible II and Niles York in Death Race 3: Inferno.

During the way to save Kim, Bryan arrived at Stuart's mansion and asked for a plane to get to Paris, Stuart declined but Bryan said that is not the time to measuring, Stuart later offered a ride for Bryan in Paris, but he declined and took a cab instead.
Stuart is later seen in Kim's birthday party.

Bryan visits Kim to deliver an birthday gift, and he invited Lennie to dinner. She explained to Bryan that Stuart and her had relationship issues, and that she had begun to rekindle her romantic feelings for Bryan, however, Bryan refused to allow himself the pleasure of her company until such a time as she and Stuart worked out their problems. Aware of the relationship between Lenny and Bryan, Stuart came by Bryan's apartment to ask him politely but firmly to stay away from Lenny.
The following day, Lenore was brutally stabbed to death while Stuart was in Las Vegas on business. Bryan was framed for the murder, but evaded police pursuit. Bryan went to a remote convenience store where Lenore had visited the day prior. He recovered surveillance footage of Lenny being grabbed by unidentified men in a black van. Bryan slowly figured out that the killers were the Russians that he mentioned in Taken, whose corrupt business dealings went south again and threatened his family.
Later, Bryan kidnapped and tortured Stuart to make him admit his role in all time, Stuart reveals that he had Lennie killed because with her insurance policy, he could pay off the Russians and frame the murder on Bryan. Bryan demanded Stuart to bring the perpetrators or he would kill him, and he agreed, with the help of CIA colleagues, Bryan discovered the murderer was Russian crime boss Oleg Malankov.
Bryan later entered Malankov's mansion and got into a fight with him, after the fight, Malankov is badly wounded. Before his death, Malankov tells Bryan that the whole thing was a set up and Stuart manipulated them. Meanwhile, Stuart abducted Kim, intending to flee with the money. Under police pursuit, Bryan arrives at the airport as Stuart's private plane is preparing for takeoff. After destroying the landing gear with the car, Bryan overpowers Stuart. Kim's pleas prevent Bryan from killing Stuart, but he warns him to expect retribution if he escapes justice or receives a reduced prison sentence. Bryan knocked him out and the police arrested the unconscious man.

- Dougray Scott and Xander Berkeley (the two actors who portrayed Stuart) are ten years apart; the former is ten years younger than the latter.
- Stuart is the only main antagonist in the Taken films not to die, instead being imprisoned.
