~ Sumikae Jamen's final words before his death.

The Sumikae Jamen is one of two main antagonist (the other is a House Loan Dagames) in episode 19 of 2020 TV series called Mashin Sentai Kiramager. He is a Black Body House-themed Jamenshi of Dark Empire Yodonheim whose dark energy was used to release the House Loan Dagames.

He is voiced by Hiroki Shimowada who previously voiced Puppetloid from 2012 TV series called Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.

History

Sumikae Jamen made his first appearance as he used his ability and swap the souls of both Mashin and their drivers.

A while later he was back in Yodonheim as cheering along with Carantula (who's soul has been swapped with Galza) on a successful mission. So with the team living in new bodies things will get pretty interesting from here on in this episode.

Back on Earth Sumikae Jamen has been using his ability as he began swapping souls around on the Japanese civilians. That is until the "Mashin" arrived to stop him from his rampage however do their souls being swapped defeating him was no easy task and make things worse Galza (who's now back in his own body) has join the battle.

A while later during the fight Galza has unleashed some devastating waves of slashes as it attack the mashin. Once their down for the count Sumikae Jamen was about to finish them off that is until Mashin Fire opens fire on the Jamen thus saving his comrades which leaves him to battle the Bechats all by himself during the fight. However with some encouragement from their stoned teammates the Mashin has change the tide of the fight as they wipe out every last Bechats leaving Sumikae Jamen left in this fight as he tried to defend himself against the Machine version of Kiramager whil Galza battles against his adopted nephew.

A while later Takamichi was fighting against Sumikae Jamen until both Bechats holds him down as Sumikae Jamen is about to swap Takamichi's soul with one of the Bechats, but he used the bechats as a human shield causing both their souls swap which totally confused both the Jamen and Bechats. As for Sumikae Jamen well he was then destroyed by this finisher called Shining Beam attack thus all of the souls that he swap including the team's soul were then swapped back to their proper owners.

Trivia

  • Sumikae (or Sumika; 住みか) is Japanese for "Living". In this case (given his Jamen is modeled after a house), It could mean "residence".

    • He (Along with one half of its Jamen Beast Counterpart) is the first house-themed monster since the House Dimension from Chojin Sentai Jetman.
      • Unlike the House Dimension (Which was modeled after a hotel mansion), Sumikae Jamen is designed after an actual house.
    • He is the first Sentai Monster of the Reiwa Era to have the ability to swap bodies.
      • He is also the first Sentai Monster since Manta Bayarsh with the ability to swap bodies.
      • He is also the first Sentai Monster since Trinoid 16: Tsutakotatsu to swap the minds of the Sentai Team they fought and the minds of the Mecha the Sentai Team piloted.
