The Sun is a bizarre entity that is the Sun itself, given corporeal form. The Sun makes its sole appearance as a minor antagonist in the third episode of the Madness Combat series, Madness Combat 3: Avenger.

History[]

Madness Combat 3: Avenger[]

After the Sheriff activated the Improbability Drive, causing Nevada to descend into Chaos, even the Sun itself was affected. As Hank J. Wimbleton was in the midst of fighting a group of Grunts outside The Bakery, the Sheriff's base of operations, the Sun gained a body, and dropped down from the sky to engage Hank in combat with a wide eyed expression. The Sun challenged Hank to battle, holding a baton, but was swiftly killed after Hank struck him in the head with a street sign. With the Sun's death, Nevada was plunged into darkness.

Since then, Nevada has remained in a bizarre state of darkness, though as of Madness Combat 5: Depredation, a red light source seems to have replaced it in the sky, leaving the region half illuminated by the unusual light.

Powers and Abilities[]

Despite being the literal Sun, given a body and sentience by the Improbability Drive, the Sun is almost identical to the Grunts Hank faces in terms of fighting style and prowess, with his abilities limited to being able to use weapons in combat, as he gained a baton upon dropping down to the ground.

Trivia[]

  • Though the Sun is indirectly connected to the Agency Against Hank Wimbleton by virtue of being a manifestation of the Improbability Drive's power, he is one of the few opponents in the series to not be directly connected to the Agency in some way.
