~ The Gassy Behemoth Studios Worker showing Petey the Cat and Sarah Hatoff Supa-Mecha Philly. |
Supa-Mecha Philly is the secondary antagonist of the fourth book in Dav Pilkey's Dog Man series, Dog Man and Cat Kid, a spin-off to the Captain Underpants franchise, as well as a confirmed boss in the upcoming video game adaptation for the Dog Man franchise, Mission Impawsible.
He was originally a robot used for the Dog-Man Movie, however Petey the Cat had used a remote control to make him work for him.
History[]
Books[]
He first appears in the show as a worker for Gassy Behemoth Studios, showing Sarah Hatoff, Zuzu, Li'l Petey, and Petey (disguised as a kitten sitter) on a tour of the studio. He tells them it's all controlled by a "very complicated" remote control. Then the bell rings to give the workers a lunch break and Petey steals the remote.
He later steals a can of Cannery Grow and sprays it on Supa-Mecha Philly to make himself bigger and bigger to the point where the studio is destroyed. He then uses the remote to power up Supa-Mech Philly and turn him evil. Supa-Mecha Philly takes Petey on his shoulder and creates mayhem. The Chief and Sarah (in superhero identities called Chief Man and Purse Lady) kick Philly the Vulture-Mech in the stomach. Dog Man (as Bark Knight) throws Li'l Petey (as Cat Kid) at the robot and he uses his claws to cut the robot's "pants". Yolay then grabs Caprese and Cat Kid and the other heroes try to stop the robot. Zuzu (in her superhero identity Supa-Fang) tries to rip off Philly's underwear, causing him to lose control of Cat Kid, and he runs off to try to find 80-HD.
Once back, Petey tells Cat Kid that he captured all his friends while he was gone. He tells him that not all of his friends were captured, but then sees that the 80-HD has run out of power because it had solar panels and it was cloudy all day. Supa-Mech Philly then kicks the 80-HD so hard that it takes him across the world to Paris where he quickly charges and then returns to where everything is happening and cuts Supa-Mech Philly in half due to the speed he came from Paris.

Trivia[]

- He is so far the only confirmed boss in the video game. However, in the video game banner, silhouettes of the Weenies and Beasty Buildings can be found, implying that they will also be bosses.
