SuperJail (sometimes spelled Superjail) is the titular antagonistic faction in Superjail!.

It is a prison led and managed by The Warden along with Jared, Alice and Jailbot, holding countless criminals who start bloody riots regularly with mass destruction and chaos.

Prison Appearance

The prison itself is a very large complex with many types of towers with faces or eyes. The main one being a tower with Warden’s hat and has red eyes. Also many types of wired things fly around the prison such as Warden-like bats flying eyeballs. And many more wired things.

The prison also possess various types of defenses. Such as towers and Jailbot. The prison also has a metal wall around the base.

History

Origin

Many years ago, The Father of the Warden led a prison until his death the warden would soon then carry on his legacy by building a super prison called Superjail, entirely built by Jailbot.

Jared

In the episode that shows how Jared first met Warden, "Jailbot 2.0", he used to unknowingly work as a Money-Man for a mafia and was eventually arrested for it. On his way to a regular prison, most of the prisoners were actually kidnapped by Jailbot to fill Superjail. In order to not get raped by an inmate known as "Fatty", Jared offered to work for Warden as his accountant, to which Warden agreed.

Alice

Alice explained in the same episode in her own backstory, having used to work at a different prison when she was still a man and in love with that prison's warden. Alice had  a sex change operation in hopes of surprising him, only to learn that he was actually gay and he fired Alice for walking in on him about to have sex with another man. As Alice was leaving, Warden greeted Alice and offered her a job, to which she agreed.

Great War

Many years ago, there was a man called Warden who built a world called Superjail it was so big that he made three angels watch over it with him. And together they lived there as a tribe. But dark days arrived the Warden left Superjail and the angels went off the find him. So began the war between the inmates. Wishing one day the angels and the warden would return.

Trivia

  • During the pilot episode "Bunny Love", The Warden tells Jared that every inmate in Superjail should wear bunny outfits. As Jared is buying them, he mentions that he has to buy 70,000 of them, revealing the prisoner population of Superjail.
  • It's unknown as to how many regular workers are at SuperJail, such as custodians or cafeteria workers.
  • According to show creator Christy Karacas, the strange worlds that are shown whenever Jailbot flies back to Superjail are actually designed to keep inmates from escaping and regular civilians away. The only character in-universe who can apparently get past the creatures is Jackknife, given his ability to escape SuperJail multiple times.
