Swamp Monster is a supporting antagonist of the Solar Eclipse Event in Tower Defense Simulator, a Roblox game created by Paradoxum Games. It was first introduced to the Tower Defense Community on October 16th, 2021, but it wasn't actually added to the game until December 6th, 2021. It was part of Night II of the Solar Eclipse Event, and could be fought against in Foggy Forest. Being defeated by it or its army would result in the player being unable to move onto Night III. Defeating it though would allow you to move on while also giving you some rewards. When it's defeated, it kneels to the ground before disappearing, presuming that it's dead.

There is a low chance that it will return when The Umbra inevitably comes back, but it will most likely be replaced by another, brand new boss.

Personality

Swamp Monster is very tame and calm whenever it is talking to the player, but that does not mean he is nice to the player. Its dialogue can be considered intimidating, and will sometimes threaten the player. However, it does like to challenge the player and will acknowledge the player's amount of skill if they are able to survive its army long enough.

We it manages to defeat the player, it tells the player that they cannot change anything, but it knows that the player will eventually fight them again.

Appearance

Swamp Monster is a giant brute with a total of 8 limbs, those being the arms, legs, and 4 octopus tentacles that come of its back. It holds 1 tridents in each of its 4 blue tentacles, each trident having a dull blue handles covered in seaweed and cyan luminescent prongs that end in white. Its head is deformed with no face, and its skin is dark green, but its a much brighter green on parts of its torse, arms, and legs. It has seaweed and some spikes that almost appear to be blades of grass on its shoulders. On the left side of its torso in the front and back, it has 2 glowing yellow eyes with black pupils, and on the upper part of its right arm, it has 1 more yellow eye, and another on the back of its right arm.

Biography

Its origin is heavily unknown, and it is not confirmed if it was just hired by The Umbra to stop the player from facing her, or if it was originally part of her army like Penumbras.

Trivia

• It is very similar to another enemy that appeared in another event in Tower Defense Simulator, that enemy being the Swamp Thing.
• It is the only final boss in Tower Defense Simulator to have more than 4 limbs.
• For some odd reason, in a teaser video, linked here, it is shown to be in both Foggy Forest and Tower Outskirts despite only appearing in Foggy Forest.
• In all of its teaser material and dialogue, it does not show its trident prongs glowing.
