Sean Johnson, better known as Sweet, is the deuteragonist of the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. He is the leader of the Grove Street Families gang, and is Carl Johnson's older brother.
He was voiced by Faizon Love, who also played Sledgehammer O'Possum in What a Cartoon! and Big Worm in Friday.
Overview
Family
Sweet was born to Beverly Johnson, and an unknown father. He has two brothers, Carl and Brian; and a sister, Kendl. Also, he has an unnamed girlfriend who saved by Carl Johnson during the shootout with Seville Boulevard Families.
Appearance
Sweet appears to be in his late 20s-early 30s. He is dark skinned, bearded, and wears a green Los Santos baseball cap as well as a green shirt over a white undershirt, dark blue jeans, and blue and white sneakers.
Personality
Sweet is aggressive and combative, but loyal to his friends and his gang. Also, unlike the other gang leaders, he often leads the gang's shootout against Ballas and Vagos.
He doesn't care about properties or money, as seen while refusing to see Carl's properties and just want to see Grove Street.
Vehicles
Sweet has a blue Greenwood, that has a license plate as "GROVE4L". His first Greenwood is destroyed while escaping from polices. Later, he bought a blue Greenwood again, his second vehicle. And, there is an Infernus vehicle of B Dup's that stolen by Sweet.
Weapons
In the missions, Sweet is seen while using various weapons; pistols, sub-machine guns and AK47. And he uses a spray can to tag the other gang tags.
Biography
Beginning
Five years prior to the events of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Sweet's youngest brother, Brian, died from unknown causes, and blames CJ, due to the implication that he was present and did not attempt to help. After this disagreement, CJ moved to Liberty City for five years and did work for a man named Joey Leone.
Carl's Return
Five years later, Sweet's mother, Beverly Johnson, dies at the hands of a drive-by shooting committed by the Ballas, and calls CJ to inform him of the tragedy. CJ agrees to visit Los Santos to attend her funeral, but is late to the funeral, to Sweet's disappointment. Reunited with CJ and childhood friends Big Smoke and Ryder, they bike home while being shot at by a Ballas lowrider. After Carl returns the home, he has done some actions with Sweet to rise Grove Street Families, such as tagging over the Ballas' tags, killing the Ballas members on Glen Park, Jefferson, killing their leader, Kane and provoking gang wars.
Imprisoned
The Grove Street Families involved a shootout with with Ballas, by leading of Sweet, in Montgomery Intersection. During this shootout, Ballas members shot him and he gets critical wounds, but saved and taken away by LSPD, and imprisoned.
Release from Prison
After Carl's leaving from Las Venturas, he meets Mike Toreno again and Toreno recompenses him by releasing Sweet from prison. Later, Carl goes to the Pershing Square and bring him the Grove Street.
After they come to the Grove Street. They find their street is taken by Ballas and the crack dealers. They killed the crack dealers and some Ballas members, and take away Big Bear from B Dup until the final mission.
Final
After Carl and Sweet find out where Big Smoke is, they go to the his crack palace, Las Colinas. Sweet takes his gun and prepares to enter the factory, but he is stopped by Carl and Carl enters the factory alone. After Carl kills Smoke, he leaves from the factory to kill Tenpenny. He sees Tenpenny while escaping with a fire truck, but Sweet catches him up and grabs the ladder of fire truck. After a chase, Sweet is saved by Carl, and Tenpenny's truck fell from the bridge and Tenpenny dies.
