The Syndicate is an antagonistic faction in Warcraft. They are a human criminal organization led by villainous nobles of the fallen kingdom of Alterac. They operated in Arathi Highlands and Alterac Mountains, although a few small encampments were scattered in the Hillsbrad Foothills. They are enemies of the Alliance and Horde. The Syndicate are also the rivals of Ravenholdt.

They are formed and led by Aliden Perenolde, the crown prince and heir of Alterac.

History[]

The Syndicate first formed after the fall of the kingdom of Alterac during the Second War. Lord Aiden Perenolde, Ruler of Alterac and other nobles from the kingdom collaborated with the Old Horde when they think the Alliance losing the war, Yet the Alliance won, and Alterac´s treachery was uncovered He and the other nobles were exiled and has nowhere else to go, they begin stealing to survive, Soon after the banded together to become more powerful and called themselves the Syndicate A Haughty, factious group led loosely by Aliden Perenolde. These professional thieves found they preferred a larger community of rogues to working alone, although some detested the Syndicate's haughty noble leaders. Lord Aliden Perenolde, the self-proclaimed leader, He decided not to make the same mistake twice by siding with Burning Legion or the Scourge, he decided to attack villages, while the alliance distraction with reclaiming lands, The Syndicate thus retaked Alterac Mountains and battling ogres and the Undead to keeps their lands.After regaining much of their lost territory, they sought to expand their sphere of influence, looking to punish the already hurting Alliance. They set their sights on the Arathi Highlands to the South.
