Horacio Sanhueza, better known as Tío Horacio, is a the secondary antagonist of the Chilean children's program 31 Minutos.

He is voiced by Alvaro Diaz.

Biography[]

According to what is told in the "Museum of Titirilquén" (series of publications of the official social networks of "31 Minutos"), Horacio Sanhueza was an automotive mechanic who one day a child approached him and asked him for money for an ice cream, but he did not have and gave it a bearing. Later he realized that he could profit from it, thus beginning his animating career.

At present he was the ex-host of a children's variety show and live audience of the 70's and 80's called "El show del Tío Horacio". He has many fans, but has a bad reputation for his drudgery and various criminal acts, which led to him going to jail and his show being canceled. It was also seen that he escaped from jail some time before his tribute in "31 Minutes". He wants to go back to television to cheer the children up again and continue his dishonest sales acts. It has been shown that he wears a wig because he has baldness.

In Season Four, it is revealed that he has a news program that is the competition of 31 Minutos called "Uncle Horacio News", a sarcastic news program with black humor and where he takes advantage of selling products. In fact, it has interviewers and reporters identical to those of "31 Minutes", including Moco.

In Episode 62: Monster Baby I am able to calm the gigantic and annoying baby with the song "Gua Gua Gua Gua". Taking advantage of the need, 31 Minutes had to let him bring his old program back to the air in order to control the baby. Uncle Horacio's plans to continue his program normally were thwarted before the untiring demands of the baby monster to quarry the same song for him.

He also has a late-night program called "Tío Horacio Compras", where he and his characters wait for people to call and buy what is offered on the screen, but nobody does.

Appearance[]

It is a puppet that represents a man with slightly dark skin, with wavy black hair and wears green clothes with white stripes, which is also the color of his program.
