Fred Conagher, also known by his class name the TFC Engineer, was one of 10 playable Characters in Team Fortress Classic and is the father of the TF2 Engineer and son of Radigan Conagher. He was also a supporting antagonist in the Team Fortress Comic Series.
Biography[]
In 1930, He was hired by RED or BLU to work for them as a mercenary in order to help his superior in taking the land from his opposing brother Redmond/Blutarch Mann along side Seven others and his friend Virgil. At some unknown point in his life he replaced his legs with mechanical ones for an unknown reason.
The Naked and the Dead[]
He asks his boss about when they're going to get paid, but his boss is not interested and is more focused on his Employer Gray Mann's Life Extension Machine that he ripped out of his back. He is annoyed when Fred says he didn't know how to make more of them. He then orders Fred to get Gray's Robots working to kill the TF2 Mercs. His fate remains unknown but it is possibly he was killed by Spy so he could disguise as him in order to talk to TFC Sniper.
Personality[]
Like father like son, Fred is a lot more friendly then his colleagues and has a love of technology. This is apparent as not only did he replace his legs with mechanical ones but also constructed a pair of eyes for his friend Virgil.
