A Question of Territory[]
At the end of winter when food is scarce, Taima and his minions intrude on Wicasa's territory while the pack is hunting. Taima, followed by Chaska and Hesutu, enter the den but find nothing to eat. They come across Pahin again, and now too hungry, Taima orders his minions to catch the Porcupine. But Pahin lures them onto a slope, and the renegade wolves tumble down it and fall from the top of the hill.
Summer storm[]

A very clever tree[]
Taïma and his followers spot a herd of bison and decide to eat one but after they almost got spotted by the bisons because of the wolves cubs they decide to eat them instead. The renegades follow the cubs in the long grass, Taïma decides to be patient and to surprise their prey. When the renegades finally attack the cubs, the group take refuge among the bisons that scared the renegades away.
A Tree for Wahi[]

The three rogue wolves were subsequently caught in an avalanche and, after surviving, returned empty-handed to their territory.
Wahi’s Mushroom[]

Heads in the clouds[]

Trivia[]
- The name Taima's origin is primarily from Native American culture, where it signifies "Thunder Crash". The name is thought to be derived from combining "tai" (thunder) and "ima" (sudden loud noise or crash) and is associated with strength, energy, and renewal.
- Although Taima, Chaska, and Hesutu are often referred to as the Renegade Wolves, it is unknown if they were once part of Wicasa's pack. However, given that they seem to be familiar with the alpha wolf, it is possible that this is the case, although they never met Wanji before "Empty River".
