Takeo Shimizu is a supporting antagonist of the anime and manga series Shiki.
he is the father of Megumi Shimizu and the husband of Hiroko Shimizu, he is a middle aged wealthy man who is a spoiled brat who abuse his family and Throws tantrums a lot but its not until the shikis where discovered by the villagers is when he shows to be a bigger monster that shows no mercy even Apon the innocent.
he is voiced by Hiroaki Ishikawa in Japanese and the late Cole Brown in English who also voiced Marshall D. Teach from One Piece.
History[]
Takeo calls dr.Ozaki to help Megumi but after Ozaki stated that Megumi is dead and he cannot do anything about it Takeo throw a fit about it being unreasonable as his wife tries to come him down, he then breaks down into tears and wanted his daughter to be left alone in peace before they start the funeral. he appears again in the festival where Ozaki shows Chizuru to him, he asked him to check her Paulse he feels that her skin is cold and she has no Paulse Toshio than reveals to him that she is the one that killed Megumi Takeo becomes enraged and told everyone to attack her when they caught her he then kills her, Takeo than joins Toshio Ozaki in eradicating the shikis from the village becoming one of the three leaders of the mob, he alongside with Tomio Ookawa are tasked by Ozaki to find SeiShin Mouri for helping the shikis as they look for him that's when all sympathy for Takeo is lost and turned him into a heartless monster as they are in the shrine they interrogated seishins mother and his friends about his whereabouts (even though they are unaware that he is helping the shikis) he then throws a tantrum and assaulted one of the staff members who then defended himself and Takeo being the brat that he is took it as an offence and killed them off screen and destroyed the temple, he alongside Tomio chased after Sunako Kirishiki who was behind all of this until the entire village was burning as Tomio orders him to find the doctor and try to extinguish the fire (at this time Ozaki and the other villagers are gone). its unknown what happen to him after that but its implied he and the others with him could have been arrested by the police who were to investigate who may accuse them of being the ones who caused it and my be in prison.

- Takeo has anger issues and gets angry vary Easly but its implied that he might have got it from the abuse from his father who was characterized as "hot blooded and becomes angry easily". In the novel he and the wife abuse psicologically megumi.
