Takuo Shibuimaru is a minor antagonist from the Death Note franchise. He is biker gang member and Light Yagami's second victim.

In the film series, he was portrayed by Kaohiko Kaoda. He was voiced in the anime by Tomohiro Nishimura in Japanese and Lee Tockar in English.

History

Takuo Shibuimaru and his group of bikers harass a woman walking alone in the street at night. In the anime, he restrains her with a pipe around her neck as they start to strip her. Light Yagami witnesses this and hears Shibuimaru's name, which he then writes down in the Death Note and puts his cause of death as a traffic accident. Shortly after, the woman breaks free and runs away. As Shibuimaru chases her on his motorcycle, he is hit by a truck and killed.
