Biography[]

These bandits are a gang that live at Taliver Mountain. This mountain is located within the mountain range along the Sacae-Bern border. They costantly steal from villages and camps and have even killed women and children to do this. Even rival bandit groups were disgusted at this, the Ganelon Bandits, for example, would much rather hold women and children for ransom.

They are responsible for the annihilation of the Lorca tribe of Sacae, Lyn's home tribe. First, they poisoned the tribe's drinking water, and then they staged an attack in the night. Lyn was the only known survivor, albeit severely weakened, and she swore to avenge her tribe by killing the Taliver Bandits, and hones her sword skills primarily for this purpose. The massacre of the Lorca leads Lyn to distrust all bandits, thieves, and pirates.

Eventually, Lyn learned from Wallace he had the bandits after he traveled to Bern. This made Lyn angry as she wanted to do that deed herself, but Wallace explained that he did it out of compassion for her so she wouldn't be consumed by hatred.

Trivia[]

The bandits and what they did are mentioned in Lyn's paralogue, The Lady of the Plains, in Fire Emblem Engage. Interestingly, that paralogue was based on a level in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade where the bosses were six members of the Djute clan and Lyn wasn't even in that game. It was most likely because it took place in her homeland of Sacae, it's where Mulagir is which Lyn uses, and it was the same for her in Fire Emblem Heroes.
