Matrix category (including protagonists and other characters)
We might need to make more articles for characters from the Matrix series, both those that are firmly on the villain side (ie, Merovingian and his minions, Bane, Cipher, Architect and the like) and even several of the protagonistic characters (even Neo), even create a new category for them.
I think we should add in several of the protagonist characters because at least two sources (CBN and FreeRepublic) mention that several of the main characters, especially Neo, were effectively doing evil, nihilistic acts, and even the writers, the Wachowski Brothers (as they were known at the time) confirmed that the entire franchise was at the very least intended to be a nihilistic franchise predicated on the works of Frederick Nietzsche, and possibly even glorifying mindless anarchy and Cultural Marxism, both of which are indeed very bad things. Besides, if Frank Miller's Batman can get an article on here despite technically being a hero, the "good" characters (who really aren't that at all) in the Matrix Trilogy can as well.
We've got few Matrix villains/character articles as it is (only Agents, the Twins, and Smith himself have articles), so we need to step it up a notch. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 23:32, September 4, 2014 (UTC)
Do anyone think he's Pure Evil?
- He's got Moral Agency issues as he's programmed to act the way he does and implied even when he went "rogue" that it was part of the plan to basically reboot the Matrix again as it has before. He and Neo are basically unknowingly pawns to the Matrix which Neo eventually realized and attempted to outwit to free humanity. Jester of chaos (talk) 18:31, July 23, 2018 (UTC)
