I am sorry but he cannot be the Big Bad and the Bigger Bad at the same time. In spite of Medusa and the Book of Eibon's Index's role which is difficult to define, I would say he is the one and only Big Bad of the series, since Arachne and Noah are only the primary antagonists of their story arc. He's pure evil

How is Asura not a Complete Monster? It says in the description that he's the most evil villain in the entire series. He tried to push the entire world into madness, pushed Stein to the brink of his sanity and showed no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He's just as bad if not worse than Medusa.Joe Devaney (talk) 19:21, September 16, 2015 (UTC)

Knight of Cerebus Status

Asura have caused the series to take a darker shift where people started dying and going insane and zany imagery became more nightmarish. Even Asura himself qualifies, any time he appears the series comic relief stops completely, with Medusa still having some humorous scenes, so he counts as a KoC.

Death/killing was always in the series the heroes are flat out shown killing evil people and eating their very souls. You know that's so lighthearted *sarcasm*. The evil people killed good people from the very start obviously. Crona is show slaughtering dozens early on throughout the anime. So no Asura doesn't introduce death by any stretch of the imagination or the first to introduce dark elements those were always present in the series there was comedy but always dark elements. Medusa upon being revealed evil comedy went down considerably especially the more we learned on her treatment of her child with the most the real funny part of her was when stuck in a little girls body how Spirit and Death treated her. That and one sexual harassment joke. Hell I checked the Soul Eater wiki recently and it even mentioned him having a strange sense of humor like anti-climatically saying he felt uncomfortable naked once released or how when seeing Free compliments him on his muscular body before jumping through a ceiling. That even in the anime he has a few hammy and slightly funny lines I remember slightly laughing at. By his actual appearance some of the darkest info happened and Arachne isn't played for laughs either just a few of her minions. The series always was rather dark as I said and not all the characters (though most were) are played for laughs. I wish you would just sign your post and stop obsessing over KoC. That said at least this time it's a case I can see some arguments for.Jester of chaos (talk) 01:40, October 23, 2015 (UTC)
