No he had no intention to kill Tarzan, Jane and her father at first and was going to release them once they got back to land. He wasn't going to kill the gorillas just round them up and sell them except for Kerchak who he did try to kill but that was only because Kerchak nearly killed him earlier. Him killing Kerchak was self-defense and he only tries to kill one human Tarzan and attempted murder is generic villain stuff. Even after his true nature is revealed he makes no attempt to harm Jane or her father just Tarzan who is an ape-man in his eyes. He also is a scapegoat for sure getting hung is a horrible death for anybody especially since he never murdered anyone. [[User:Romeo and Robot|Romeo and Robot]] ([[User talk:Romeo and Robot|talk]]) 22:41, April 26, 2020 (UTC)

Revision as of 22:41, 26 April 2020

Cecil Clayton, not John Clayton

This should be renamed to Cecil Clayton because Clayton in this movie was based off of Cecil Clayton from the book. In the book, John Clayton was Tarzan's birthname. Bentonfill (talk) 16:47, February 2, 2013 (UTC)

There will be a 2014 adaptation of Tarzan next month, so this page should be renamed "Cecil Clayton (Disney)".Danstaw1223 (talk) 02:27, April 22, 2014 (UTC)

You should add to this page on Trivia that Clayton is the main antagonist because he has bigger plans than Sabor.Evanopedal (talk) 05:54, September 2, 2015 (UTC)Evan Kalani Opedal

Categories

I have some suggestions of categories for him : - Tarzan Villains

- Animal Killers (he killed Kerchak)

- TV Show Villains (he appeared in the TV series in flashback and hallucinations)

- Siblings (he had a sister)

- Posthumous Villains (his sister came in the jungle and tried to kill Tarzan to avenge his brother's death)

- Died in Disgrace (for obvious reasons)

But this only serves to drive Clayton into a frenzy and he slashes at the vines,

Replace with w:c:evil: / http://evil.wikia.com/wiki/Moral_Event_Horizon

- Heroes turned to the Dark Side (Clayton was normal at first, but bad at the end.)

That's wrong!! Clayton is always a villain!!

Voice Actor

Shouldn't this villain have his voice actor named.

Conflict

I actually like him for some reason. --Beethoven4ever (talk) 15:12, September 5, 2016 (UTC)

Foreshadowing

Shall Clayton's true nature revealed be foreshadowed?
