for those who doubt Daffy Duck's legitimacy in this wiki please consider re-watching some of the old Looney Tune cartoons, especially the one cartoon I quoted - although a lovable rogue Daffy has a darker side: it's just not often spoken about due to his much more recognised status as a childhood hero 92.0.133.20 10:09, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
Anyone think Daffy borders on pure evil? He treats NO one with respect. Disturbing for a kid's cartoon.
At least villains in others have friends whom they love and respect.

I don't know. Everything he does is for his own benefit... that doesn't qualify as caring. I'm not saying he's pure evil, just that he disturbingly leans on it.

Pure Evil? Really, NYer2? Are you kidding? Daffy Duck is not pure evil. While Daffy may be mostly evil, he also does heroic acts. In fact, he's also considered an anti-hero. Also, he cares about others like his girlfriend, Tina Russo. TheSuperGenius (talk) 05:06, November 7, 2018 (UTC)
Can I edit the Daffy Duck page?
Some of his cartoons kinda seem like he's pure evil, especially those with Speedy Gonzalez and a few of his from the late 70s.
Mind you yes, pre-Fritz Freleng, he's as you put it, he's just a jerk, at most an extreme asshole. But... even then there's one cartoon where he's pure evil to some decree. Remember the TV show he and Porky had? And the way he tortured Porky?
Plus... he as well as Bugs are murderers. At least once. Daffy shoots a guy in the audience. Bugs does the same thing when he's performing piano for a symphany.
