As of God of War 2018 she is definitely not a villain. She genuinely tried to protect Baldur by making him immortal and after realizing what the spell did to him, was not able to remove it. She never intended to harm him in any way and she was unaware that the spell would make him unable to feel. She does nothing villainous, helps Kratos and Atreus throughout the game and in the end, only protects her son from being killed. Her threats of vengeance at the end of the game are understandable as well, given that Kratos just killed her son in front of her. --Grizzhly (talk) 22:33, September 19, 2018 (UTC)
Perhaps, but it seems it's the matter of time before she become a villain (tragic one). I'm sure of it, which is why I made that page.
Do you think I created the page prematurely before ehe confirmed to be actual villain? Even if she wanted to protect Baldur, she still indifferent to suffering he went through or others harmed by his son.

- I don't think she's indifferent, she just can't change it so she tries to convince him that she did him a favor. She is even ready to be killed by her son to atone for what she did. Other than that, she is a fairly reasonable character. Maybe she will become a vengeful villain in the next game but so far, I dont see her as one.--Grizzhly (talk) 00:45, September 20, 2018 (UTC)
Removing Freya from the Villains Wiki[]
Am I the only one who thinks that Freya has... nothing to do on this wiki? The events of God of War: Ragnarök show us that Freya is all but a villain. The fact that she tried to kill Kratos during Fimbulwinter doesn't change anything in my opinion, considering that Kratos killed her son. Despite this, she found the strength to make amends with him. As for the invulnerability spell she cast on Baldur, it happened way before the events of the series, and while this was an incredibly stupid decision with dire consequences, she did it out of love for her son. She could have chosen to kill Odin too, and yet she didn't. Freya rightfully deserves her place on the Heroes Wiki for sure, but her presence among the Villains is a nonsense. What do you think?
