I know this has been touched upon, but I still feel like this is a debatable topic. To me, he has shown far too many indicators of being pure evil, and, except for the ending where he was crying and saw himself, indicating some possible, but very slim, sign of remorse, he still lost all sense of morality and empathy, becoming intoxicated in his own power. I KNEW IT!!!
Light Yagami is Pure Evil as fuck! He is sick and twisted in the head if he thinks that killing people will solve all world problems! Trent Morrison (talk) 20:14, September 14, 2018 (UTC) Why Light is pure evil
Light is not pure evil he shows remorse before his death and has On & Off Anti-Villainous Qualities
- Only anime showed remorse and a bit too far to be an anti-villain more just delusional. While we had debated his status more than once with me finding his speach near the end to be implying he still wanted to genuinely help I was the minority thus stayed under it. Basically only the manga counts but the only major difference is the death thus not warranting a new page. Jester of chaos (talk) 13:20, August 21, 2019 (UTC)
Ok but he could be both good or evil depending on how the viewer sees it He had good intentions but things got out of hand and he took it to far
