Presumed Deceased[]

I put that category up there in accordance with the new category "Status dependant on version" (which I first discovered on seeing it here). He is definitely killed in the book, and in the movie he is possibly killed by Dobby, or else by Voldemort upon arrival (maybe even among Griphook and the others at the beginning of Part 2). All are likely but unconfirmed, so "Presumed Deceased" is the category for that. Presumed Deceased for the film, Deceased Villains for the book, and Status Dependant on Version to explain why both are up there. Ghostkaiba297 (talk) 07:51, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

What I really hated about Peter[]

He turned into a rat and we didn't know it! How dare!

Split into Two[]

With the differences between the book and film versions, we should probably split it the two pages. Same for Crouch.

I do understand why you and some other users might want that, but the thing is his film counterpart is virtually no different from his book counterpart other than lacking redeeming qualities splitting up this would open the door to tons on unnecessary ones. The reason we split Crouch is because his personality is so drastically different that he is almost not even the same character while Peter's core personality traits are still intact. Split into Two (part 2)[]

Pettigrew's literature version is a tragic and sympathetic character and the film version is Pure Evil. These two clearly have different personalities.

This is grouping the Tragic and Remorseful categories can go hand-in-hand with Pure Evil. It looks hideous, even if we're grandfathering it in.

Would it be too hard to create a page for Book Pettigrew?

Yes they have differences but they have far more similarities, both are cowardly traitors who betrayed their friends join the death eaters and were responsible for Voldemort's return as well a many more. We aren't grandfathering it in this is how we have been doing things and will keep doing it when needed. This is no different from a villain being under both Psychotic and Psychopath due to version differences. No it wouldn't be hard it would be duplicating the page. With all due respect, it would be more appropriate for Pettigrew's book and movie versions to each have a separate page. Although they do have way more similarities than differences, the differences are significant changes in Pettigrew's character. Maybe not as apparent as Barty Crouch Jr., but it's the same case. Furthermore, although understandable, it still seems strange that several redeeming qualities are overlapping with Pure Evil and so are Deceased and Presumed Deceased.
