Starting to get tired of this whole "682 is the son of 231-4", here's why:

Universe (1)

@User:New Nayerb - You forgot one thing, the whole SCP Wiki isn't canon, there is no wrong or right in the SCP formats and tales, the author of the SCP-231 never suggests that one of the brides gave birth to 682 and 999, nor any of 682's and 999's authors suggests that they were birthed by 231, and the writer of the tale of the Scarlet King and the tree of life just makes a tale. That is just about it, they just created a tale of their belief, and the tale does not affect the canonicity of the whole Scarlet King stories. ~ This is the signature of Headquarter8302 User page - User talk 23:16, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
@User:Headquarter8302 I understand this in fact that's why I put that bottom part in the image, I just wanted to show that 682 being the child of 231-4 messes with the time line of events as he can't be the child of 231-4 and the source of these ancient myths at the same time.

SCP-173 and SCP-682[]

Could someone link me to the article that says that SCP-173 (the Koitern) destroyed a third of the leviathans? People keep linking me to "This is how the world ends" and while it implies that 173 partially destroyed the multiverse it says nothing about him destroying the leviathans and especially not such a specific fraction.

682 betraying the Scarlet King[]

Where is the article that states that SCP-682 betrayed the Scarlet King? - The previous unsigned comment was added by New Nayerb - Talk

Dunno, can you find it? ~ This is the signature of Headquarter8302 User page - User talk 23:17, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

My vote.[]

I’m surprised no SCP has been headlined on this wiki due to how popular the site is. I thought about headlining SCP-682 as it is one of the most iconic SCPs. Since we got SCP-999 headlined on the Heroes wiki back in 2019 and SCP-4666 on the Pure Evil wiki in December of last year, I think it is about time for an SCP to be headlined on this wiki. I was going to do SCP-096, but I find 682 is a far more compelling villain. I like how he isn’t just a generic doomsday villain, he is somewhat a tragic figure, as it has been tortured numerous times by foundation, and being one of the offspring of the Scarlet King who is a a nihilistic death god who wants to destroy the universe makes perfect sense for why he hates all life. I also like how it was able to form a bond with SCP-079 as a way to show he has a moral agency. On top of that, like any other great villain he is given very well written stories. While it is unknown which one of those stories are canon they are all very well written, and do a great job on making you understand and fear the monster.
