Heyyy so I saw the movie and I have 2 8 hour shifts to get through but once come saturday or sunday when I actually get home I'm going to add to this. Thanks. - Bitbat

Ok so I see that you set it onto protect administrators, can you at least elaborate on the final reckoning beside that one liner now that the film's been out for a week??

Why is this page and Gabriel's page both on protect? How are susposed to add any new info from TFR if we can't edit the pages?

exactlyyyy

Because the pages have been undergoing an edit-war over the roles.

I wasn't even aware about the edit war. Apologies.

To avoid more editing wars when the lock expires I would probably just do the Solomon Lane route and put Gabriel as the main antagonist of the first and then him and The Entity both sharing the main antagonist role in the second

Now normally, that would be for the best. But the main problem I have with this is because of the fact the Entity seems to have more influence and has a higher threat level than the likes of Gabriel. Yes, Gabriel is a personal enemy, but in this case, he doesn't have much influence nor a high threat level compare to the Entity.

True, but the movie focuses on Gabriel as a villain still as much as The Entity. You could say the same about John Lark and Lane in a way, Lark is the bigger threat because Lane is captured for most of the movie and only becomes a big threat later on. Gabriel wasn’t a pawn of The Entity either; normally secondary antagonists are right hands of the main, but Gabriel had his own story. There’s also valid reasons to why the Entity could be considered the main antagonist, but there’s an even amount of good and bad reasons that I feel like it would just make more sense for both of them to share the role instead.

Ok, I can understand your point about that. However, it's important to note that secondary antagonists don't always need to be right-hands. They can be part of the trope "Big Bad Ensemble", which is basically a main antagonist with their own agenda and motivations, as well as having their own resources to help stand out as a big threat. In this case, the Entity is far more of a bigger threat than Gabriel. Again, Gabriel is a personal enemy, but when it comes to the Entity, he's a small fry compared to AI, who wants to destroy humanity and rule over the remnants. So in this case, Gabriel is more like the Heavy of the film, being the main physical threat. But the AI? It's a far more concerning threat than Gabriel himself.
