Seperate article[]
Why is the Harold Saxon Master a separate article from the Modern Who Masters? 223p (talk) 10:58, November 21, 2018 (UTC)
- A user didn't like the Pure Evil category being associated with all the other incarnations of The Master, so they made a separate page which was apparently allowed by the admins. Wikification (talk) 14:37, November 21, 2018 (UTC)
- But this Master also is not Pure Evil. In "End of Time" he almost agrees to join the Doctor and in the end when Rassilon tries to kill the Doctor he tells him to step aside and attacks Rassilon, effectively saving the Doctor. If it was pure revenge, there was no need to tell the Doctor to step aside, he could have just waited till the Doctor was dead and then killed Rassilon afterwards. - Except in season 10, he shed all redeeming qualities introduced in "The End of Time" by killing his own future self out of spite because she wanted to stand with the Doctor. Looperreallyreallysucks (talk) 14:05, March 26, 2020 (UTC)
That wouldn't exactly make him not qualify since the Ainley incarnation is also considered purely evil. Even ignoring that look at how he's portrayed in series 3, one tiny moment of maybe redemption doesn't mean he's exempt. --Loolveus (talk) 14:44, March 26, 2020 (UTC)
