Should we maybe use male pronouns when referring to Mutsuki? I mean, I don't really support it 100% but I'd like to at least stick to canon.Gotenks9979 (talk) 17:10, August 13, 2018 (UTC)

  • She is biologically female. Therefore, we should refer her as one. I really don't think we should bring in all this gender identity fiasco in the mix. ShockwaveDude120 (talk) 18:39, August 13, 2018 (UTC)

Yes, but on a page such as "https://villains.wikia.com/wiki/Magne" we use female pronouns, yet they haven't even made an effort to have others consider themselves as a woman, nor look like one. Mutsuki, on the other hand, uses "ore", is addressed as "kun", and in :re chapter 5, says: "I don't really know why, but for a long time now I've only had unpleasant feelings about living as a woman. I want to live as a man from here on out." Sometimes translated as: "I don't really know why, but... I don't want to be... a girl. From now on... I'd like to be a guy" Maybe it's best to stick to official evidence rather than opinions? I don't really know it's up to someone with higher authority on this website than I.Gotenks9979 (talk) 00:28, August 15, 2018 (UTC)

How is this opinionated? The beginning of the series literally reveals Mutsuki to be female and it's the reason why Torso is attracted to Mutsuki's body. Magne is transgender, but biologically speaking, she is female, which is why we use female pronouns to address her. The same thing can be said for Mutsuki. This wiki really isn't big on genders, so I don't think you should expect much of a big discussion out of this. ShockwaveDude120 (talk) 02:00, August 15, 2018 (UTC) Then explain why we refer to Magne is female again?Gotenks9979 (talk) 18:19, August 16, 2018 (UTC)

i know you all say that you go by biological gender in this wiki but i dont think that is fair to the character or any other trans person reading the article. the tokyo ghoul wiki uses he/him in it i dont understand why you wont use he/him in here. also magne is actually not a cis woman she is a transgender woman that argument is extremely in valid in this case. it isn't that big of a deal to change tooru's pronouns at all. he says he wants to live as a man and i think it's important that you respect that even if he is a fictional character because it does affect how others view trans men in real life. i do politely ask that you reconsider this (sorry for the formatting of how im talking about this i am not totally used to comments on wikis this is just really important to me).
