Hello I was wondering if V is actually meant to be Guy Fawkes, because David Lloyd I think, the illustrator of the comics, said they should make V Guy Fawkes, back from the dead to finish his mission? Aside from the V character being a figurehead of the rebellion idea, and Evey becomes V in the end, I'm wondering if V is ultimately meant to be the new Guy Fawkes, I mean Guy Fawkes resurrected. That would be awesome, and would explain why his hands are burned - from the torture he suffered.
