It's quite alright Inferno, I guess you'd know better than I. Amnestyyy 18:15, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

not really so, its easily debatable since insanity can be viewed as a tragedy (thus invoke sympathy) but in the comics Stryker outright kills his daughter and wife for no reason other than she was born a mutant - then basically tried to execute Kitty Pryde on live TV as well.. what made him a Complete Monster (in my eyes) is the fact he was so utterly callous when it came to life (bombing innocents and so forth): though he may have Frollo syndrome in the fact he believed he was doing good.. still he is hard to sympathise with at all Inferno Pendragon 18:33, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

in the comic books he is slightly more tragic due to the fact his religious fanaticism drives him - he geniunely believes mutants are so evil God wants him to kill them.. in the movies he loses that trait and becomes a military monster who has a mutant boy (I think his son or other relation) strapped to a torturous machine to be used as a living weapon - unlike the comic book version the movie Stryker was not shown to be overly religious nor insane so his actions are arguably much more evil in the fact he was of (relatively) stable mind and spirit but did these horrific acts regardless.. Stryker is a monster, look what he did to Wolverine and the mutants on the Island - also the boy he used as a weapon in X-Men 2 was his son.. Stryker was insane though, his wife died and he blamed mutants as it was his way of dealing with things - which drove him psychotic in the process. 92.8.232.94 21:29, February 1, 2011 (UTC)

Not a xenophobe?[]

The "Xenophobes" category keeps getting deleted from his page. Pretty sure that he and his cult are equivalent to Nazis for mutants. He even says "Whatever a man’s color or beliefs, he is still human. You X-Men are not!" to justify how he treats mutants as subhuman. If that doesn't make him a xenophobe, then what is he? Just like Jester told you, the "Xenophobes" category is for those racists who are not genocidal. Even the "Genocidal" category's description reads "Please do not add Xenophobes as not only is it obvious that they hate another group".NerdyPopCultureGuy (talk) 11:54, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
