Tamataki & Chamataki are major antagonists in the 2023 indie-horror game series, Garten of Banban. They are a turtle-chameleon hybrid mascot in Banban's Kindergarten that inhabit the Arboreal Sector of the kindergarten. They hold the party hats that are needed to give to Mr. Kabob Man.

Biography[]

Garten of Banban III[]

In the Arboreal Sector, the protagonist is tasked to find the party hats needed for the mascot, Mr. Kabob Man. they take several doors leading to the dragon room. There, Tamataki & Chamataki appear at the other bridge of the room, and prepare to attack the protagonist. Chamataki uses his long tongue to try and crush the protagonist, while Tamataki shoots projectiles at them. The protagonist uses fireworks to shoot at them, hitting them several times. The two-headed mascot then becomes dizzy and falls off the platform into the abyss, presumably to their death. The protagonist then collects the party hats that he left behind and puts them on Mr. Kabob Man, continuing to find their child.

Trivia[]

  • When the protagonist pushes Mr. Kabob Man at a certain point, a door would open and they are given a White Keycard. Using the White Keycard would allow the protagonist to go to another room, showing Tamataki & Chamataki's wall-art with their artwork and motto on it.
    • They are also one of the few mascots to not appear on the main mural with the other monsters.
  • Tamataki & Chamataki actually appear earlier on in the game. When the protagonist is in Stinger Flynn's second hallucination, they walk to the end of Slow Seline's hallway where the tail of Tamataki & Chamataki is seen, swiveling away into the button room before disappearing.
  • The theme that plays during their boss fight is called "Two-Headed Battle".
  • Tamataki & Chamataki are the only kindergarten mascot so far to have more than one head.
