Tao Qian (도겸) aka Legend Hero Zhang Kai is a supporting character turned antagonist in Legend Heroes.
History[]
Tao Qian was originally an infamous safe-cracker who was caught by Taeoh. His mother pleaded with Taeoh to let him go as he was just a boy, so Taeoh decided to not arrest him. However, Tao Qian soon went back to safe-cracking and was caught by Taeoh once again.
After serving his time, Tao Qian sought to atone for real and began working part-time jobs to pay for his mother's medical bills for her illness. He at some point received a Legend Changer and the Zhang Kai Hero Piece, allowing him to transform into Legend Hero Zhang Kai and later met Liu Bei, whom he mentored in doing part-time jobs.
As his mother's illness got more severe though, Tao Qian began to contemplate returning to safe-cracking and was eventually pushed into it by his Hero Piece, though before he could actually crack a safe he changed his mind again after Liu Bei thanked him for teaching him how to do part-time jobs. However, he later encountered Zhang Lu, who brainwashed him into being an unrepentant thief by stinging him with one of his feathers.
Tao Qian's thieving soon caught the attention of Liu Bei, who reluctantly transformed into Legend Hero Guan Yu to fight him. After being defeated by Liu Bei, Tao Qian broke free of his hypnosis when Zhang Lu's feather fell off. Just then though, Cao Cao arrived and broke his Legend Changer, disqualifying him from the Dream Battle.
Things got better for Tao Qian though and he was later sighted by Liu Bei walking with his mother.
