Tarah is the antagonist of the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Cease Fire".
She was portrayed by Suzie Plakson, who had also played the Female Q, Selar, and K'Ehleyr.
In the 2150s, Tarah was a member of the Andorian Imperial Guard, under the command of Thy'lek Shran. In addition to being her commanding officer, Shran considered her a friend.
Tarah was part of the invasion force that forcibly occupied the abandoned disputed world of Weytahn. The Vulcans objected to their presence and sent their own force to retake the world, which they called Paan Mokar. Shran agreed to negotiate the dispute with the Vulcans, but only if Jonathan Archer. Tarah objected to Shran's talking to the Vulcans, and when Shran insisted on going ahead Tarah decided to disobey Shran and take matters into her own hands.
While Archer, T'Pol, and Ambassador Soval were on their way to meet with Shran, Tarah shot down they were riding in. They survived the crash and left the shuttlepod to make their way to Shran's headquarters. Tarah had snipers attempt to kill Archer, T'Pol, and Soval. When they failed Taras tried to kill them herself after being sent by Shran to rescue them.
Prevented by Archer from killing Soval, Tarah was then confronted by Shran. She admitted that she had ordered the attack on Archer, T'Pol, and Shran, before telling him that she and other Andorians wished to continue fighting the Vulcans. Shran had her arrested before entering in to talks with Soval. Eventually the talks led to the Vulcans ceding Weytahn to the Andorians, and began the process of the Andorians making peace with their Vulcan neighbors.
