Tarta Bird is a major character in Garten of Banban III. He is a male version of Opila Bird and is presumed to be the father of the Opila Chicks.
Biography[]
Garten of Banban III[]
When the protagonist defeats Tamataki & Chamataki, he pushes Mr. Kabob Man to corner an Opila Chick. This angers Tarta Bird who proceeds to jump the protagonist. Luckily, the latter hops onto him and they head towards the next room where Stinger Flynn confronts them. He brainwashes Banban to chase after them, along with chasing after Opila Bird and one of their chicks. After going up a stairway, the protagonist and Tarta watch Banban fight Jumbo Josh. Stinger Flynn appears again and tells them to stop fighting, only for him to grab the latter and crush Banban, presumably killing both of them. The shaking causes Tarta to fall, and Opila jumps after him. It is unknown what happened to him afterwards.
Garten of Banban IV[]
After returning with the second elevator piece Queen Bounceila tell the player that more of their friends have arrived. When entering the infirmary and looking next to Slow Seline's cell, Tarta Bird and Opila Bird are also inside a cell, although Tarta Bird is asleep. When listening to the Toadster Archives, Tarta Bird and Opila Bird were looking for something and was incredibly hostile towards Sheriff Toadster unless he kept his distance. They were trapped by being lured into their cell. Ever since being captured, they haven't moved once. Toadster believes they are trying to trick him to check up on them.
After escaping Bittergiggle, Toadster says he has released all the prisoners.

- Tarta Bird's color scheme is based off the unused color scheme for Opila Bird.
- One of their chicks also contains Tarta's color scheme too.
- The way Tarta jumps after Opila Bird refers to his motto of protecting loved ones.
- The way Tarta Bird sleeps in Garten of Banban IV and VII is just like a Flamingo.
