Tatiana, also known as the Whisper is a supporting antagonist in Season 2 of Batwoman.
She is an assassin native to Coryana and a high ranking member of the Many Arms of Death. She strides to prove herself to her queen Safiyah Sohail who she is madly in love with by making her see Alice for who she really is resulting in her death.
She was portrayed by Leah Gibson.
Personality[]
Tatiana was an extremely skilled assassin who was unflappable and cold as ice in the face of danger which made her one of Safiyah's most important henchwomen. Tatiana deeply despises Alice for being the object of Safiyah's affections as she was secretly in love with her queen, though she would only admit to this after being pushed by Alice.
Biography[]
Tatiana grew up on the island of Coryana eventually becoming a member of the Many Arms of Death and the chief enforcer Safiyah Sohail. Unbeknownst to Safiyah; Tatiana was secretly in love with her.
One day Tatiana found Beth Kane also known as Alice onboard Catherine Hamilton's yacht and brought her to her queen. Much to Tatiana's disappointment, Safiyah did not order her to kill Alice and instead decided to train her to be a soldier. When she discovered that Alice had fallen in love with her trainer Ocean and they had plan on running away with a Desert Rose; Tatiana told Safiyah who had Enigma erase each other from their memories.
Due to her jealousy towards Alice; Tatiana engineered conflict between her and Safiyah by killing every single member of the Wonderland Gang and sending a note that Safiyah was responsible for the apparent death of Kate Kane in order to make Alice hate Safiyah and stay distant from her. She was later sent to Gotham City to retrieve Alice after the latter exposed the Desert Rose to the world; abducting her and Sophie Moore. Eventually Tatiana's deceptions were exposed causing Safiyah to stab her with her knife that was dipped in a potion that placed people in suspended animation.
Safiyah later forgave Tatiana; removing the knife and accompanied her queen back to Gotham to exact revenge on Alice by finding the last Desert Rose. When Safiyah began working with Black Mask; Tatiana was tasked with killing Ezra Castellanos and ended up fighting Batwoman. She then captured Alice and went to her hideout to kill Ocean on Safiyah's orders. After murdering Ocean, Tatiana attempted to kill Alice, but she got the upper hand and killed Tatiana.
