Tatsue Torada (jap. 虎田達栄, Torada Tatsue) is the main antagonist of "Furinkazan"

She's voiced by Roko Takizawa.

Past

She and a few others made a bet on how many arrows will miss in the Mounted Archery competitions, but Kai Kuroto, the best at the time, was so good he never missed a target, so Tatsue planned to kill him. After a duel between Kuroto and Akira Tatsuo, where some others misaligned the targets and Kuroto missed one, he went back to training. Tatsue followed him and, as he stands by the ravine with the horse, she shoots him. She's surprised when her stepsons, Yoshiro and Shigetsugu, as well as Koji and Ayaka Tatsuo suddenly appear and blamed themselves for Kuroto's fall. However, when Yoshiro later thinks he remembers a shot that was fired at the time, Tatsue decided to kill all of them. When she found him after the storm, she put a smashed centipede next to him and disappeared. The centipede was said to refer to the "wind, forest, fire, mountain, lightning, shadow" war spell, with Kuroto being the shadow who died in a shadowy ravine and in a black kimono. Yoshiro, whom she killed a little later, pointed to the wind. Some time later, she also killed Koji by tying him up, burying him in a mountain of dirt, and then beating him to death. This act was meant to symbolize the mountain.

Present

Her husband, Naonobu Torada, hires Kogoro to investigate Yoshiro's death. Later, when Kazuha and Ran are staying at their estate, she jumps at the chance and frightens them by putting on war armor and gluing hair from packet string to her hair. Ran and Kazuha only see her silhouette. After telling the others about it the next morning, Heiji notices the resemblance between the shadow and Shingen Takeda. Ayaka Tatsuo then locks herself in the toilet and Tatsue texts her that she would help her.

Tatsue takes Ayaka, who is dressed in black, on her pony while the others search for Ayaka. She rides to a tree and hangs Ayaka. She also places a centipede next to her, as Ayaka's death represents the symbol of the forest. Shortly after, Shigetsugu Torada searches his hut for a notebook that contains some information about Kuroto's death. However, the notebook is nowhere to be found and Tatsue also texts him, but this time she says the notebook is upstairs somewhere. She previously hooked the notebook up to a high-voltage power line, and when Shigetsugu sees it, he tries to get it, but is electrocuted in the process and dies. His death corresponds to the sign of lightning.

Finally, Tatsue is about to kill Akira because, like Kuroto before, she thinks he's too good at mounted archery and saw through her trick of shifting the targets. She and her fellows plan to burn him and the whole Tatsuo house, but are stopped by Yui, Heiji, Conan and Kansuke and arrested.
