So it was that one night an emissary of the chaos gods crawled into the mortal realm from the devastated remains of one of Taurox's enemies. The daemon emissary made the mistake of meeting Taurox's gaze with its hollow black eyes. Before it could utter a single syllable in its dark tongue of chaos, Taurox grabbed it by its wattled throat and bit off its head. Then a violent thrashing started as Taurox spasmed and shook in great pain, seized by a vision of a world awash with blood and afloat with corpses. Taurox roared and screamed, biting and clawing at himself in his convulsions before taking up his axes and slaying every one of his tribe one by one and then went on a year long rampage across the Old World, killing humans, beastmen and greenskins alike.

After the rampage has ended, Taurox was reborn. He rose up and bellowed his defiance, blood cascading from his now metallic body, for Khorne had rewarded his fell deeds with a new body of shining brass. No more would he tire, no more would he have a moment's respite from the rage that consumed him. Clashing his rune-inscribed axes together in savage pride, Taurox set off once more and began the slaughter anew with his Slaughterhorn tribe in search of a chaotic artifact called the Heart of Darkness, which may be the only thing capable of removing his one weak spot.

According to Darkrai, this page is suspicious; very, very suspicious. It's not THAT big a deal that this was probably copied from another wiki, but c'mon, we've got our own style.

Taurox twii

Taurox the Brass Bull, known also as the Slaughterhorn, is a mighty minotaur berserker of the Beast-Men race and a champion of the chaos god Khorne, making him a powerful villain. He is a fearsome Minotaur warlord with the body coated in brass (save for a weak spot on his neck) who was responsible for laying a trail of destruction all across the lands of the Great Forest of Talabecland. He hates when someone looks him in the eyes.

Taurox was added to the videogame Total War: Warhammer II, as part of the The Silence and the Fury DLC, leading The Slaughterhorn Tribe faction.

Biography

Taurox was not always a metallic monstrosity. Once a fearsome chieftain of the Minotaur tribe, Taurox enforced his brutal will upon the lesser beasts of the forest by killing any creature who dared meet his stern gaze and then devouring them. The Brass Bull was merciless beyond measure, and the ground at his feet was ever wet with the freshly spilled blood of friend and foe alike.

So it was that one night an emissary of the chaos gods crawled into the mortal realm from the devastated remains of one of Taurox's enemies to tell him that the blood god Khorne has been impressed by his fighting prowess and bloodshed. The daemon emissary made the mistake of meeting Taurox's gaze with its hollow black eyes. Before it could utter a single syllable in its dark tongue of chaos, Taurox grabbed it by its wattled throat and bit off its head. Khorne reacted by cursing Taurox and a violent thrashing started as Taurox spasmed and shook in great pain, seized by a vision of a world awash with blood and afloat with the corpses of his foes. Taurox roared and screamed, biting and clawing at himself in his convulsions before taking up his axes and slaying every one of his tribe one by one and then went on a year long rampage across the Old World, killing humans, beastmen and greenskins alike.

After the rampage has ended, Taurox was reborn, with blood cascading from his now metallic body, for Khorne had rewarded his fell deeds with a new body of shining brass. No more would he tire, no more would he have a moment's respite from the rage that consumed him. Clashing his rune-inscribed axes together in savage pride, Taurox set off once more and began the slaughter anew with his rebuilt Slaughterhorn tribe in search of a chaotic artifact called the Heart of Darkness, which may be the only thing capable of removing his one weak spot.

It is unknown what happened to Taurox in the End Times but he was likely killed in the destruction of the world.

Powers and Abilties

As a Doombull (minotaur lord), Taurox posseses superhuman strenght superior to most of his fellow minotaurs. The brass covering his body, save for one spot on his neck, makes him nigh invulnerable against any attack that doesn't ignore armor. Khorne's blessing gives him a seemingly limitless amount of stamina.
