Teacher Oomura is a minor antagonist in Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan, serving as the main antagonist of the episode "A Demon Runs the Schoolyard". She is Dark Q model made by the Machine Empire Black Magma for the Evil Education strategy to replace a real teacher of the same name. The plan is to brainwash the children in a school to believe that the heroes Sun Vulcan are bad and stain their image.
It was portrayed by Eri Kanuma, who also played Salome disguised and Umbrella Monster in Battle Fever J.
Biography[]
Teacher Oomura, like all the rest of the Dark Qs, was created by a process used in Black Magma and went through extensive training. Of which took place in a dark cavern while in a ruthless environment. It won the trials and was produced to be a replacement to a teacher named Oomura in a school. The plan being that the soldiers would disguise themselves as civilians and decoys of the Sun Vulcan would attack them. Therefore painting them as evil and unheroic figures to the children that so loved them.
A monger called Vaulting Box Monger was created to set a trap for the teacher, where a Vaulting box would be lying around. Here there would be an ambush and teacher Oomura was imprisoned there by the Dark Q that would take her place. The Dark Q was prepared for the operation and put on the finishing mask before hurrying to the classroom. Soon after stealing her identity it met the students in class and showed the fabricated film to them while saying that "she" was assaulted by the Sun Vulcan when going to the store and broke her arm. All while saying that they abused "her" by calling her names and had no good reason for pushing her off her bike when all Oomura was doing was shopping. This enraged the kids to know their role models had abandoned the righteous path and following that the fake Oomura left the school in the teacher's car while smiling.
Teacher Oomura admiring the plan's apparent success.
The patrolling heroes caught sight of it driving the car and chased after it to find the Monger in their path. While the fight continued the Dark Q admired how this plan had turned the kids views as they looked down upon the Sun Vulcan during the fight with contempt. Although, thinking it was safe the Sun Vulcan had found out about it's impersonation when seeing it reveal itself inside Oomura's home, and decided to stop it. Firstly, they sent two of their members undercover as new teachers. They were welcomed by the fake that saw them as foolish all while being oblivious to their plan. At the same time Queen Hedrian was injuring other teachers to replace them since already the kids were loathing the Sun Vulcan. This way more Dark Qs could act as substitute teachers and push the brainwashing further. One of the support members of the Sun Vulcan though discovered the imprisoned teacher and freed her. A fight then erupted which brought the now exposed Dark Q legion to their destruction.
Although there were two Oomuras and the children wanted to know which was their real children. While the fake tried it was eventually found out which made it remove its mask and fight to the bitter end.
Personality[]
Dark Q smiling as she when outrunning the heroes.
Teacher Oomura is a sadistic and very charismatic individual, able to convincingly bring up an idea of being assaulted and terrorized when shopping to the children without revealing it to be a lie or suspicious. Not to mention that she uses this pity to fuel the resentment of them to create tensions between the Sun Vulcan and the children. As well as that the fake teacher was a sadist who found pleasure in relishing the "dense" actions of the Sun Vulcan. Although this egotism would be its downfall as it never expected the counterattack from within the school that would make the plan fall to ruins.
In terms of what happens with the children it admires how easily influenced they are proving that it has no care for their lives. Viewing them as pawns that will fight the battle for Black Magma and is more amazed at their state of mind than them as people. On top of that it still shows a low opinion of the Sun Vulcan by as mentioned before calling them fools at certain points. After being revealed though it drops the polite nature it had to reveal a barbaric attack before its downfall.
Powers and Abilities[]
Teacher Oomura can attack and spy on others but other than that it has no other.
Appearance[]
Teacher Oomura is fitted with the outfit of Teacher Oomura. This being a white coat and long skirt, along with a black shirt under the coat. It mimics the teacher's black hair and clip on top of it as well. On top of that, it wears a face mask (replicating eyes and facial features) to fool others and under it is a mechanical face.
The robot itself has a silver coated template for a face that lacks eyes where it should be in empty sockets. There is a patch of red at the forehead and it has other simplistic humanoid features.
