The Tecuums are the main antagonists of the 2024 action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
They are a species of dark shapeshifters born from the essence of Null, who are sent by their creator to spread around Hyrule and create echoes of the people and creatures within.

The very first Tecuum was their creator, Null, who was imprisoned beneath the earth and within the Still World after trying to consume the universe. Seeking to break free and destroy all of existence, Null began spreading rifts to consume the planet. Eventually, after consuming members of Tri's species, Null gained the ability to create "echoes" (magical clones) of other beings. Null then began producing the Tecuums to begin spreading rifts and echoing living beings on its behalf.
